Arts and Animals is an event in cooperation with the Catalyst Arts Collective, and is a fundraiser for their Art Start fund! But Stories on the Spot? What is that?
What is Stories on the Spot?
Here’s how it works: you fill out a simple form and ask a few questions about yourself and the type of story you would like to be the star (or the villain) in. You hand it to me, just your average, local, everyday author. You plunk down a donation to the Arts and Animals event. Then you go away.
- You can enjoy the rest of the event.
- Check out the other activities.
- Chat with friends.
- Do some art.
- Bid on the silent auction.
- Buy a book (a percentage of the profits goes to the CAT)
Then you come back 20 minutes later. I’ll have a story ready for you, starring YOU. I’ll sign it, and you are done.
All proceeds go to the event! You won’t want to miss this rare chance to get a story you can call your very own! Quite literally!
